I was able to pick up some souvenirs at the NYRA Shop at Belmont Park… they had absolutely nothing to offer on other Belmont contenders (I even asked) except for I’ll Have Another gear. I was vociferous that these should have been on clearance.

The I’ll Have Another shirt is fresh off the presses! It took me a while figuring out how I wanted to achieve the half-tone effect in color this time and then just cropping out the horse *just right* is what took me so long. Get yours in whatever color, style, and size you’d like here!

I added five cookies to the background to go along with the story behind his name, one for each of his spring races: the Robert B. Lewis, the Santa Anita Derby, the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness, and next, the Belmont Stakes.

Want to help retired racehorses and look cool in the process? I started up a RedBubble account recently and have finished up the Derby Hopeful tee for anyone to buy anytime. The design features Hansen and Union Rags on a backdrop containing OVER 100 colts nominated for the Triple Crown. It took me a great deal of care and time, and all proceeds will benefit New Vocations. I hope to raise $100 for them over the next several months.

An early look at the charity tee I’m designing! I decided for now I’ll be sticking with the 2012 Derby hopefuls concept since I’ve already started on it, so here’s an early preview of what it’ll look like. On the back will be names of many more Derby hopefuls!

I nearly cried when I saw my bank balance, meaning I won’t be able to order one of these Havre de Grace tees in time for the BC Classic (I REALLY REALLY hope I get that job I interviewed twice for!). They start at $15 and ship straight from Fox Hill Farm in Delaware!

Edited: I keep thinking Havre de Grace is in Maryland… her name was also the name of an old race track there so I’m always confused ;)
